 THE FASTEST ON EARTH

The sailfish is a species of the marlin family with a highly developed dorsal fin shaped like a sail and a rostrum to defend itself and injure its prey .
It can reach 110 km/h at top speed!

 WHAT TO KNOW

Sailfish can be impressive with their rostrum but the activity does not present any particular risks.

You’ll see them work as a team to control sardine balls, deploying their sails during fast movements and course changes.

 MINI SARDINE RUN

Swordfish are not the only ones to feed on sardine shoals and the fortunate observer might also see dolphins, whale sharks, mobula or manta rays.
